Ten sobotni dzień rozpoczął się dla nas – wolontariuszy - już od wczesnych godzin porannych. Nadeszła pora na spełnienie marzenia Kacpra. Wszystko organizowaliśmy w wielkim pośpiechu. Tym razem my – wolontariusze FMM – mieliśmy najmniej pracy. Cała niespodzianka została przygotowana przez Komendę Powiatową Policji w Sławnie. To dzięki tamtejszym policjantom spełnienie marzenia Kacpra okazało się tak niesamowite. Wszystko zaczęło się od przypadkowej kontroli drogowej i podwózce radiowozem na komisariat. Na miejscu pan policjant oprowadził Kacpra po całym budynku od aresztu po salę konferencyjną, gdzie czekaliśmy na niego my – wolontariusze Fundacji Mam Marzenie – wraz z niespodzianką – marzeniem Kacpra. Tam czekał na niego również pokaz wyposażenia policjanta od wykrywacza metalu po kamizelkę przeciwuderzeniową. Kacper wpatrywał się zaciekawiony i słuchał wszystkiego uważnie. Po całej prezentacji wręczyliśmy Kacprowi wymarzony komputer, a panie policjantki wręczyły prezent od siebie wraz z Dyplomem Przyjaciela Policji. Później zeszliśmy na dół, aby zobaczyć jak wygląda radiowóz od środka. Tam chwilę jeszcze porozmawialiśmy i rozstaliśmy się z uśmiechem na twarzy. Cały czas Kacper niedowierzał temu, co się dzieje. Miło nam zawsze usłyszeć, że trafiliśmy w dziesiątkę z odkryciem i spełnieniem marzenia. Dzięki Ci wielkie Kacper za Twoje serce, za marzenia, za uśmiech. Twoja radość, to nasza radość. Chciałabym podziękować z całego serca również policjantom z Komendy Powiatowej Policji w Sławnie. Bez Państwa i Państwa poświęceniu nie potrafilibyśmy w pełni spełnić marzenia Kacpra. Dziękujemy za Państwa pracę, to dzięki takim ludziom jak Wy – warto mieć marzenia.

That Saturday’d begun very early for us – volunteers. It was time to make Kacper’s dream come true. We didn’t have much time to prepare everything properly so we put every piece together in no time. This time we, the volunteers, had had not so much to do, after all almost whole surprise was prepared by Local Police Department in Sławno. Thanks to cops there, Kacper’s dreamed-of day had been so amazing. This day started for Kacper with quite “random” police road check on the way to town and a lift to local precinct by a cruiser. There, policeman showed Kacper all around, from lock-up to conference room, where we were waiting with the surprise. There was also few things for Kacper to see, like metal detector or strike-proof vest. Kacper was very curious, looked around and listened very carefully. We gave him his dreamed-of computer, and policewomen gave him special gift from them with special "Diploma for a Police’s Friend". Later we walked down to see what does the cruiser looks like from the inside, had a little chit-chat and it was unfortunately time to say good-bye. Through the whole time Kacper hadn’t believed, that anything what was happening was true. It’s nice to hear that we found out what was your real, sincere dream. It’s always nice to know that our work wasn’t wasted. Thank you so much Kacper for your heart, for your dream and for the smile. Your joy is our joy. I would like to thank also every cop at Police Department in Sławno. Without you and your dedication to work we could not make Kacper’d dream come true. Thank you for your work, thanks to people like you – it’s worth to have a dream.
